“Singapore? Is it part of China?” To many people living in the other parts of the hemisphere, the name Singapore would certainly seem foreign to them years ago. Now, it would almost be embarrassing not to know about Singapore existence.
Singapore has transformed from a relative unknown back in the 1980s, to a modern, sophisticated and cosmopolitan city. (Really, I have less explanation to do now…). A recent expat survey has even ranked Singapore as the number ONE city to live in. While this survey might be disputable and disagreeable to many, surely there must be a good reason and basis in the computation and findings.
Few would immediately fall in love with Singapore at first sight. Impress? Yes! But not love instantly. You will have to take a closer look on what this little island has to offer, how she has her own distinct characters and where, you can feel the excitement.
