On stepping into the hotel, I was simply “Wahooo”
While walking towards our room, I was utterly “ Wahoooo”
Slotting the card and entering the room, I was completely “ WAHOoooOooo”
The Pan Pacific Hotel Singapore offers 800 deluxe guestrooms and suites providing some of the city’s most spectacular views. It has won many awards and accolades in the hotel industry.

Hotels situated in the Marina Promenade could be very different yet similar in style and design. The Pan Pacific Hotel Singapore seems taller as compare to other hotels in the premises but the exterior building structure is rather simple. However, looks can be deceiving.
The hotel exhibits a true class of space utilization. Inside, the hotel was spacious and it was not clustered. The hotel lobby was well presented. The stunning atrium in the middle provided lots of seating capacity for tourists to rest and relax. The seating arrangement was not cramp and there were lots of walking space in between. The lobby used bright colours and looked very lively. Once you stepped into the hotel, it just opens your heart up…cheerful and lively.
One thing that caught my eyes was the lift elevator. The lift was built with a see through glass wall where you could overlook the hotel interior. The outdoor glass lifts were also part of the experience! It was brightly lighted up and decorated with different colour. It had a touch of retro and contemporary feeling. As it towered up the landing, it just reminded me about the fun fair wheel whereby I could overlook the people below me. It was just so tempting; made me want to step into the lift again and again.
My room was clean and spotless. And to my little surprise… it came with the welcome fruits and a box of small chocolate! Three cheers to the staffs for the little thought!
Pan Pacific Hotel Atrium
The beautifully kept deluxe room had a panoramic view of the city. Absolutely stunning! The room was spacious, the bed was huge, and the feeling was simply comfortable. Even the bathtub was huge and had a separate shower.
I particularly enjoyed the one button feature called ‘one service’ . I didn’t have to look around trying to push the right numbers to call front/housekeeping/room service etc… It was just that simple. Convenience and ease is everything in Singapore.
The pool was a great place to relax and read the free magazines. Once you arrived, the staff will present you with a complimentary bottle of water, and even better, when you have finished one, they will bring you another… what a service!
One afternoon, I was trying to locate the link to the Marina Shopping area and I couldn’t. A public area cleaner seemed to notice me, approached me and assisted me. He shown me to the link way, I was so pleased. This is what I called “SERVICE”! Even a lower lever staff was involved in helping a guest to have a pleasant stay in the hotel. The treatment was just another daily routine service rendered to the guests. What can I say further…
The Pan Pacific Hotel Singapore is well link up to shopping areas and establishment surrounding the hotel. Easy accessibility is one of the reasons why tourists like this hotel. The underground air conditioned shopping can lead you all the way to the MRT (it is a blessing, as the weather here can be very humid and hot).
The Japanese restaurant in the upper lever also provides a touch of serenity in the hotel. Koi pond and the Japanese garden allow tourists to enjoy a quiet moment while having their food. The Japanese tourists in particular will definitely love the setting. Also, remember to try the rooftop Chinese restaurant – food is good; views are stunning!
There are also quite a number of Front office counters ready to serve you. You hardly need to queue. It is a smooth transition from the time you check in to the time you check out. No hassle and no waiting… I felt well pampered from the moment I arrived (include a smooth in-room check-in) to the moment I departed (a quick 30-second check-out).
With the friendly and professional staff, I would highly recommend this 5 star hotel for first timers to Singapore, The Pan Pacific Hotel Singapore!
