The Ritz Carlton Singapore… Famous Bathtub With A Sensational View

Ritz Carlton Singapore
The Ritz Carlton Singapore is the centerpiece of the Millennia Singapore complex in the heart of Marina Center and is designed to be an architectural landmark.
Sadly I cannot fandom the design structure of the building. Call me an architectural idiot. It seems to be rather square and to be honest I am not really impress with the exterior façade viewing from outside.
However, according to my friend Ian, the unique design of the hotel actually “floats” 120 feet above ground – ensuring unobstructed and panoramic views of the city skyline and the Marina Bay.
Internally, it was pure captivating. The place was brightly litted up. There were many windows that allow light to penetrate to the hotel. The entrance design was futuristic, large and welcoming.
The main characteristic of this luxury hotel seemed to be the water feature. It was prominently displayed in the lobby and water seemed to be flowing down from every part of the building. Tall bamboos were used to blend into the building together with the soothing sound of the flowing water and the visual effect of the water feature.

Entrance of Ritz Carlton Hotel
I could not really remember, why I landed myself in the Ritz Carlton Singapore, but I certainly could remember the service rendered to me by the friendly and passionate staffs. They did not just tell me how to walk to the Marina Square (a shopping area) or merely performing finger pointing of direction, instead they SHOWED me! The staff walked me there… and it was done voluntarily without even me requesting. I was that impressed! Hmm…I wonder what if I will to ask where is the city train – a distant from the hotel – the staff would surely oblige to walk with me.

“How are you gentleman?” I was greeted politely by the staff everywhere I go. It was not just merely a greeting, it was the way they greet you – with a real sincere smile. The whole Ritz Carlton Singapore was surrounded with warm and polite staffs. Every part of the hotel, there were ready staffs preparing to assist you. You just could not seem to miss them… Every interaction with the staff was fantastic – everyone going further than necessary to ensure our stay was perfect.

Bathtub with a view
The highlight of the room was nevertheless its bathroom! The famous octagonal window just in front of the endless bathtub was astonishing! The bathtub could accommodate 2 people without struggle, and let you have a fantastic sink while admiring the stunning and glorious panorama! Marble was all around…
The room was serviced twice a day and each night we would get chocolates by our bedside and slipper placed at the side.
Like the rest of the hotels in Marina, there is a pedestrian linkage to shopping and to Suntec City, making it very convenient for tourists. The Ritz Carlton Singapore is a wonderful hotel for travelers who are seeking for class and exclusivity.
If you are concern with the security of the hotel, I bet you can sleep peacefully. You will know that even those side door opening, a security staff is there to watch over you and of course opening the door for you.
The Ritz Carlton Singapore Club lounge offer 5 food & beverage presentation each day. Simply put, this means that food and drinks are available from 7am till 11pm. Breakfast in the club lounge was very good as well. There was a wide variety of fruits/pastries/hot items. Overall I was quite pleased with the range and choice of food.
The hotel spa and gym/pool area were very good. We had massages on arrival and the Spa staffs were very friendly and hospitable… The pool side was very relaxed and tranquil. We often noticed the staff changing the towels on the chairs to maintain the hygienic level in the pool. Interestingly, even the toilets were not spared. The toilets used hand towels instead of paper to dry your hand…
If you want to experience the famous bathtub with a sensational view and the immaculate service, The Ritz Carlton Singapore will not disappoint you.
